This is a mixed malt named out of appreciation for Masataka Taketsuru, the dad of Japanese whisky. He is the principal Japanese who dominated whisky-production in Scotland and created the real whisky in Japan. Masataka discovered that the characteristic assets encompassing a refinery were basic for quality whisky. In view of his idea, he chose two spots, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, and assembled two refineries there. Its delicate malt flavor, fruitiness and incredibly even taste make it an ideal section point into the universe of Nikka.
